How to get from London to Bruges BY CAR

The most common used ferry is via Ramsgate to Ostend, which takes about 4 hours. Dover-Calais (in France) is a lot faster and takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes. How to get from London to Bruges BY TRAIN
The most convenient way to travel from London to Bruges is by train. Take the Eurostar to Brussels Gare du Midi (3 hours) and change there for Brugge (+/- 1 hour). Another way to get from London to Bruges by train is to take the Eurostar train to Lille (France) first and then hop on one of the local trains directly to Bruges. If you want to get cheap tickets, be sure to act fast enough: there are discount tickets in limited numbers if you book early so be quickly. Another option is to take the Eurostar to Brussels and then use the “All-Belgian-Stations”-system to get to Bruges. This takes a little longer than via Lille but it’s bound to be cheaper. How to get from London to Bruges BY BUS
The most economical (from 15 GBP), but obviously somewhat time-consuming way to get from London to Bruges is by bus. The entire journey London to Bruges by bus will take you around 9 hours. Buses to Brussels (stop in Bruges) leave Victoria Coach Station at 08.15 (arr. Brussels 16.45), 09:30 (arr. 17.31), 14.30 (arr. 22.45) and there’s an overnight service leaving at 21.00, arr. 05.30.
